Pericles Kimonos Obituary, Death –  Died on Friday, January 26, 2024, in the company of his family, in a calm manner. He was 80 years old. He was the son of Chrystallou and Kimo Kimonos, and was born on August 25, 1943, in Koma tou Gailou, Cyprus. He is survived by his devoted children, Vassillios (Bill) Kimonos (Kari) and Chrystal (Paul) Kimonos-Quaranta, and his adored wife of 53 years.

Anna Kimonos (née Katsiarou). Vassillios Jr. (Billy), Alexandra (Tanner) Geddes, Perry, Loukas, Chloe, and Annaleza (Tyler) Cristiano are the grandchildren. Stella and Leo, the great grandchildren. He was a devoted brother to Vassillios (Georgia) Kimonos, Voula Kimonos, and Sotiris (Nikki) Kimonos. Nieces and nephews adored him as well. At the age of 14, Perry left Cyprus for Canada and moved to Montreal in 1958.

Perry founded the business in 1980. Before opening Perry’s Place, Perry worked as a cook at his uncle’s restaurant in Montreal. He then moved to Niagara Falls and worked as a chef at a number of restaurants, including the Park Hotel, Minolta Tower, Casa Toro, and Howard Johnson’s. Perry also had a construction job working on the Skylon Tower. On Tuesday, January 30, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., friends are welcome to visit the Patterson Funeral Home, located at 6062 Main St. in Niagara Falls, with the Patterson family.

The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at 1:00 pm at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, located at 585 Niagara St., St. Catharines, Ontario, following the Trisagio/Thrice Holy Hymn Service. The final Trisagio/Thrice Holy Hymn Service/Burial will then take place in Fairview Cemetery. Perry’s family would appreciate donations made to St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in his honor.
