Rheal Lesage Obituary, Death – Winnipeg, Manitoba – With deep hearts, we announce the demise of Rheal Phillipe Henri Lesage, a remarkable soul who fought a valiant battle against cancer. Rheal, 44, died peacefully on January 17, 2024, surrounded by his family, leaving a legacy of love, resilience, and fond memories. Rheal Lesage was born on November 2, 1979, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Gerard and Lucille Lesage. His educational career led him to Notre Dame de Lourdes and St. Claude, Manitoba, where he graduated in 1997. Rheal pursued computer science at the University of Manitoba, igniting his enthusiasm for technology and eventually becoming a respected practitioner in the area.

His career included positions with Powerland Computers and with the Federal Government’s shared services, where he helped to establish the Department of National Defense’s recruiting centre and the RCMP Division D. Rheal met Laura, his soulmate and best friend, in Cuba’s stunning setting. Their union grew into a loving family with the arrival of two daughters, Kyla and Nathalie. They built their ideal home on an acreage in Lorette, finding great joy in life’s simple pleasures. Rheal’s calm and friendly demeanour moved everyone he met, and his willingness to assist family and friends marked his personality.

Rheal treasured the peaceful moments around a campfire, the excitement of camping and trekking, the joy of playing board games, and the warmth of family gatherings. His love of life extended to visiting zoos, travelling, participating in Pinja with Nathalie, and discussing fantasy and mediaeval realms with Kyla.
