Tim Stokes dedicated over two decades of his life to serving and protecting the Louisville community as a member of the Louisville Metro Police Department. Throughout his career, he was known for his commitment to upholding the law and ensuring the safety of those he served. He was highly respected among his fellow officers and was recognized for his contributions to the department.
After retiring from the police force, Tim Stokes faced a new challenge when he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Despite the difficulties that came with the illness, he faced it with immense courage and strength. Tim Stokes fought valiantly against the disease, surrounded by his beloved family and the support of his community.

Tim served the Louisville community since he was hired in June of 2000 until he retired in October of 2020. Our brother was a leader, instructor, teacher, mentor and a friend to so many. He had a passion for helping those who struggled with mental health.
